London Fashion Weekend.

A few weeks ago, me and Jess went to the Elle London Fashion Weekend! It was really fun, but the show bags didn't really have as good stuff as last year. We both brought a green frog paparazzi bag and Jess also brought a toner! We both wore dress' from Topshop, Blazers and Biker Boots lol. It's non-uniform day at my school friday, not too sure on what I'll wear yet but probably my outfit I wore to my friend Beths house a few weeks ago!

Tea Party at Beths/50th Blog Post!

On the weekend, my friend Beth had a 'tea-party'! It wasn't that we all sat around drinking tea or anything lol, but we did all cook cakes or biscuits to bring round there :) My playsuit is from Topshop.

One thing I just realised when I went into the 'edit posts' section on here, is that this is my 50th Blog Post!! I can't believe I've posted 50 already lol!! For any of you's that have read my blog since the beginning, or maybe some of you's are new to it, or just read occasionally, what has been your favourite posts I've done? Which posts interest you most, etc? Also, I'm so pleased I have 18 followers! That's almost 20! Thank you for following if you do, or please follow if you like my blog and don't already :)

Trip to London.

On Monday it was a teacher training day... so me and Jess went to London. We went into Topshop, American Apparel, Primark, Urban Outfitters, H&M. We ate in McDonald's. All day going through the train barriers, my ticket never worked once, so by the end of the day it was getting pretty annoying having to keep going to the assistants! We both brought lots of stuff! Jess got two necklaces, both Topshop, one of which was a short necklace with a pearl heart shaped bead and an anchor, the other was a green/blue type jewel stone necklace. The second necklace she brought was exclusive to the Oxford Street store, so that was quite fun to find there. I brought some small red rose earrings. I don't usually wear earrings, but both me and Jess were saying how we really want to get back in to wearing them again :) Also, I got a cameo ring, as well as this top that is a pale green colour, with an exposed zip at the back. At the back, its quite sheer though, whereas on the front of the top, it is folds of fabric. They had it in pale pink too! I might take it back though, as it did seem really expensive for a top.

Fun in the Snow.

Lately, its been snowing a lot here!! Yesterday I went over to Jess' house. Its always so fun there, we also walk to Tesco to get some lunch lol. In the summer we always got pasta pots and melon, but now its got colder we've bought short breads yesterday and the last time :) Jess brought Vogue, but I already have it so I brought Glamour. We walked back and Jess made some hot chocolate, I made some tea and we sat and talked for ages :) Her cat Isla kept trying to jump on the cage of one of the pigeons that had been brought inside lol. After we got all dressed in so many layers-I had my coat, over a jersey blazer, over a cardigan, over a playsuit with tights (probably a bad choice for the snow!), and my biker boots on, along with a massive scarf and black gloves. Jess had her new Worker Boots on!! They are so nice :) So over we went to the Park, and I wish we had sledges! I thought about using a piece of cardboard but quickly decided against it. We walked to the top of the hill, and sat on the bench there. The snow was blowing directly into us, and the wind was so cold, so we ran all the way down the hill again. Suddenly deciding all the snow would be good for photos, we got Jess' camera, and headed back to the Hill... We then took loads of photos, jumping around in the snow, it was so fun! After a while, our hands felt frozen, and we didn't want to risk catching hypothermia or frost bite (I know it wasn't that cold but it honestly did feel like it!), so we went back into the house. We went on Twitter (follow me-http://twitter.com/lucytaylor0) after uploading all the photos. Played sing star for a bit and then I got picked up and went off home!

New Years Eve!!

Happy New Year everyone! For New Years Eve, my Mum throws a party at a local hall and the money raised goes to my Brothers school. My friend Jess came, so it was really fun! :) This year we decided to get ready at Jess' together before going to the Party! That was fun, and we both put on fake eyelashes! I hadn't worn fake eyelashes before, so I was hoping they would come of easily.. luckily they did! Jess slept over after to save her Mum coming to pick her up at midnight. It was such a great night! I wore my Urban Outfitters dress again and Jess wore a playsuit which was also from Urban Outfitters!

My New Years Resolutions are to do more exercise, because I do absolutely none at the moment which must be so bad for me considering the amount of chocolate and McDonalds I do; I would say eat more healthily but I doubt that would happen lol! Also to do more new things this year, and to save up money for clothes so as I have a better wardrobe by this time next year! What are your New Years Resolutions?

Vintage Vogues and Audrey Hepburn DVD's

Me and my best friend-Jess, exchanged Christmas presents the other day! I got her a necklace from Urban Outfitters, a Nails Inc nail varnish in 'Piccadilly Circus', and made her a DVD of all our best memories from this year :) And for me, she got me a box set of all of Audrey Hepburns best movies, including Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina, Roman Holiday, Paris when it Sizzles, My Fair Lady and Funny Face! Also, she even got me a vintage copy of Vogue-an issue from October 1989 with Claudia Schiffer on the cover! Its so funny looking through it and seeing how much has changed from then until now. I loved both of my presents, and I could tell she loved hers too :) Watching the DVD I made makes me realise how lucky I am to have a friend like Jess, and its so nice to watch it and remember everything that's happened this year, it really has been so good! Together we've been to a Coldplay concert, to Berlin, Elle's London Fashion Weekend! Even just the smaller things we do like sleepovers or going to Costa Coffee have been great :) I hope next years just as good! Christmas is such a good time to reflect over the year, and to be thankful for all the people you have in your life.... my family and all my friends, Jess, Beth, Rachel, Vix's being some of them :)

School and Sepember.

So its finally half term! I'm of to Florida in a few days time, which I cannot wait for! I am so so excited! I can't believe how fast schools gone, it makes me realise how quick its going to go before its actually time for me to leave! When I leave, I want to go to college instead of staying on for sixth form, because I want a change. Ive been there for almost 5 years now, so its getting very boring now! However, I will miss all the things I usually do there, like me and my friends sitting on the green at lunch, or doing the car share with Jess. I love on Mondays and Fridays going to Costa Coffee's with Jess, its become practically routine now! :) I got a letter about when my school leavers Prom is going to be and its next July! In a way in more looking forward to shopping for the dress, doing hair and make up, arriving and doing prom photos-than the Prom itself! I though I'd post some pictures about what I've been up to since the beginning of September-when school started up again...

These were some pictures I took whilst in the car on the way home from my cousins birthday. He went to the Natural History and Science Museums, but me, my Mum and Dad went for a walk around Knightsbridges and I brought some teabags from Harrods lol! :)

Also, I went to Beths Halloween Party, and to see Coldplay! The Coldplay concert was amazing! :D And I went on a school trip to the London Knitting and Sewing Show!

Coldplay.

Last Friday night, me and my friend Jess went to see Coldplay live at Wemberley Arena! It was such a great night! Girls Aloud and Jay Z were the supporting acts so we got see them as well! The White Lies were also there, but we couldn't get there in time to see them because we had school during the day. It was such a rush when we got out of school-I had an hour to get home, eat dinner, get showered, do hair and make up, and then be at the station! We were a bit doubtful about finding our way their, since me and Jess aren't exactly the best at being on trains, but it was fine, and actually surprisingly easy to get to! I'd better get used to going on the train to London everyday, because I've got two weeks of it in November for work experience!!

We were in the standing area and managed to get really near to the stage, considering how far back the standing area went. They performed songs from their newest album, but they also did some of their older songs such as Yellow, Fix You, In My Place and Clocks, etc! At the end there was fireworks, which was really great to see. My favourite parts of the night was during Vida la Vida because of the atmosphere :) And then my other favourite part was when they sung Lovers In Japan!! All of these paper butterflies were blown out over the crowds! It was just so amazing to look up into the sky and see all butterflies everywhere :D I've posted a video of the song below... and also some pictures!
