Oh-in the first picture, you can still see the H&M green label on the shorts because I had literally just got in and tried them on so I hadn't had a chance to take the label off yet!

Owls.

So I went shopping to lakeside on Saturday with Jess, and I brought these Owl hair clips! They are so cute :) Jess got some bird ones! Although these clips seem to be purely for decoration purposes, since they can only manage to hold back a few strands of hair at a time. They are really tight to get out, but Ill wear them anyway! Tomorrow its back to school, and I do not know how I will ever manage to wake up on time! I got a blackberry over the holidays and I cant seem to get the alarm to wake me up :S

London Haul.

I was meant to be working on the Wednesday and Thursday of this week but at the last minute it was put to another date, so suddenly I had 2 days free :) On the Wednesday, my dad was going up to London for work or something already, so I travelled up there with him, and he went of to do whatever it was, and I went shopping at Oxford Street! I went into Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Zara, River Island, New Look, H&M! That was the first time I've actually been shopping without someone, and in London as well :S Luckily, I didn't get lost on the trains or anything, and just got a Club Sandwich out of Pret A Manger for lunch :D I'd been saving my money up for quite a while, so this is what I brought...

I got this bag out of H&M :) I'd wanted a fringed bag for ages, and I love the bags H&M do.This top is one I'd seen on the website ages ago, and wanted...The same with this playsuit, I saw it on the website. I wish the bottom part of this playsuit was more structured though, but I really like the asymmetric shoulder and subtle floral print. This shirt from Urban Outfitters was kind of expensive for a top, but I did really like it. I love the print on it, and the edging along the collar and sleeves.I'd read in Elle about Topshops new make up collection, and then when I was in Urban Outfitters, I noticed these nail varnishes :) It was buy one get one free, so I chose this green colour and brown one...

I did also buy a swim suit from H&M, which is black with massive pink flowers, and with a big bow on one of the shoulders, because it too, like the playsuit is asymmetric :)

London Fashion Weekend.

A few weeks ago, me and Jess went to the Elle London Fashion Weekend! It was really fun, but the show bags didn't really have as good stuff as last year. We both brought a green frog paparazzi bag and Jess also brought a toner! We both wore dress' from Topshop, Blazers and Biker Boots lol. It's non-uniform day at my school friday, not too sure on what I'll wear yet but probably my outfit I wore to my friend Beths house a few weeks ago!

New Dress and Bag.

Today I went to Elle's London Fashion Weekend! Me and my friend Jess went last year, so we decided to go this year too! I brought this new dress from Topshop yesterday, and this bag by brand 'Paparazzi' today. I so love this dress! I love floral prints in general, and this one is so nice, I can't wait to be able to wear it properly in the Spring without tights! I really like that it has a cute out bit at the back! I wore it with a blazer today though, so I wasn't too cold! I'll do a better post about this dress and bag tomorrow and with more pictures and details of London Fashion Weekend!

Trip to London.

On Monday it was a teacher training day... so me and Jess went to London. We went into Topshop, American Apparel, Primark, Urban Outfitters, H&M. We ate in McDonald's. All day going through the train barriers, my ticket never worked once, so by the end of the day it was getting pretty annoying having to keep going to the assistants! We both brought lots of stuff! Jess got two necklaces, both Topshop, one of which was a short necklace with a pearl heart shaped bead and an anchor, the other was a green/blue type jewel stone necklace. The second necklace she brought was exclusive to the Oxford Street store, so that was quite fun to find there. I brought some small red rose earrings. I don't usually wear earrings, but both me and Jess were saying how we really want to get back in to wearing them again :) Also, I got a cameo ring, as well as this top that is a pale green colour, with an exposed zip at the back. At the back, its quite sheer though, whereas on the front of the top, it is folds of fabric. They had it in pale pink too! I might take it back though, as it did seem really expensive for a top.

Hint of Floral Roses.

I love wearing a practically monochrome outfit made up of blacks, greys and navy's, with just one bright thing. In this case, my floral rose top :) I hate neon's though. This bright pink colour is about as neon as I go! I really love this top. Top: Topshop

Thinking about the Summer.

So this is the playsuit I brought a few weeks ago! The Playsuit is from Topshop, and the grey blazer is from Primark. I love playsuits, especially floral ones :) I'm so bored of all the miserable weather, with all the cloudy skies and the rain :( I literally cannot wait for it to become summer again, when it actually resembles daytime when you wake up, as opposed to it seeming as though its still the middle of the night. I can't wait for it to feel warm outside again, instead of having to bundle up with five thousand layers everytime you walk out the front door. But mostly, I'm looking forward to just being in the Summer... getting a tan, wearing summery clothes, having longer days, hanging around with my friends, no school to think about for six weeks. I want to be able to wear my floral playsuits without tights and a cardigan, my summer dresses with gladiator sandals, my high waisted denim shorts, my colourful skirts... I am so excited!! What are you's most excited about for this summer?

Fun in the Snow.

Lately, its been snowing a lot here!! Yesterday I went over to Jess' house. Its always so fun there, we also walk to Tesco to get some lunch lol. In the summer we always got pasta pots and melon, but now its got colder we've bought short breads yesterday and the last time :) Jess brought Vogue, but I already have it so I brought Glamour. We walked back and Jess made some hot chocolate, I made some tea and we sat and talked for ages :) Her cat Isla kept trying to jump on the cage of one of the pigeons that had been brought inside lol. After we got all dressed in so many layers-I had my coat, over a jersey blazer, over a cardigan, over a playsuit with tights (probably a bad choice for the snow!), and my biker boots on, along with a massive scarf and black gloves. Jess had her new Worker Boots on!! They are so nice :) So over we went to the Park, and I wish we had sledges! I thought about using a piece of cardboard but quickly decided against it. We walked to the top of the hill, and sat on the bench there. The snow was blowing directly into us, and the wind was so cold, so we ran all the way down the hill again. Suddenly deciding all the snow would be good for photos, we got Jess' camera, and headed back to the Hill... We then took loads of photos, jumping around in the snow, it was so fun! After a while, our hands felt frozen, and we didn't want to risk catching hypothermia or frost bite (I know it wasn't that cold but it honestly did feel like it!), so we went back into the house. We went on Twitter (follow me-http://twitter.com/lucytaylor0) after uploading all the photos. Played sing star for a bit and then I got picked up and went off home!

New Topshop Buys!

I've been shopping a lot recently :) I went to Lakeside the other day and saw this playsuit I really liked! I liked the cut of it, the double-breasted buttons, the shirt type collar, and then of course the floral pattern! It wasn't that much, considering it was from Topshop, as a lot of their stuff is quite overpriced, but so worth it at the same time! But then as I started asking peoples opinions, and some liked it, some...not so much :S but I think I'm keeping it anyway :) And then today, me and my dad went to Bluewater-I brought two rings! I'll do a post about them tomorrow maybe :) Me trying the Playsuit on in Topshop!

Vintage Vogues and Audrey Hepburn DVD's

Me and my best friend-Jess, exchanged Christmas presents the other day! I got her a necklace from Urban Outfitters, a Nails Inc nail varnish in 'Piccadilly Circus', and made her a DVD of all our best memories from this year :) And for me, she got me a box set of all of Audrey Hepburns best movies, including Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina, Roman Holiday, Paris when it Sizzles, My Fair Lady and Funny Face! Also, she even got me a vintage copy of Vogue-an issue from October 1989 with Claudia Schiffer on the cover! Its so funny looking through it and seeing how much has changed from then until now. I loved both of my presents, and I could tell she loved hers too :) Watching the DVD I made makes me realise how lucky I am to have a friend like Jess, and its so nice to watch it and remember everything that's happened this year, it really has been so good! Together we've been to a Coldplay concert, to Berlin, Elle's London Fashion Weekend! Even just the smaller things we do like sleepovers or going to Costa Coffee have been great :) I hope next years just as good! Christmas is such a good time to reflect over the year, and to be thankful for all the people you have in your life.... my family and all my friends, Jess, Beth, Rachel, Vix's being some of them :)

Going On Holiday.

I'm going away with my family to Spain :) I'm really excited to be going on holiday! I thought I'd just post this, so as you know why I probably won't be posting anything for a little while, since I'm not sure if there's Internet access there. London.

Me and my friends went to London for my birthday! First we went to Trafalgar Square, and then walked around for a bit, before going to Oxford Street! It was so much fun :) The night before, all my friends slept at my house, so we ordered Chinese! Thanks Jess, Beth and Rachel for making London such a fun day and I loved all my presents!! :D

As we were walking, me and Jess saw this restaurant that looked nice with all the flowers, so we took a picture. Only later on did we realise that it was actually the same chain of restaurants that we ate lunch in, as we all ate in Spaghetti House on Oxford Street!We tried on massive fur coats in Topshop :DOn the train on the way home...Me with my Topshop bag :) I brought a denim jean jacket, and a striped top!
